Cimaise - Albums for Flarum (early access)

HelperDude2024 can you describe in more details? You could hide the links to the global album and picture lists using CSS if you only access albums through the profile page.

In the future I plan to allow album-less pictures. But I currently don't have any additional plan for the profile page since there's already the picture and album lists there and it will automatically work with new album or picture types. What else do you suggest adding?

the idea is to have a bit like a small social media profile section. So that users could upload pictures specifically of themselves in a public / private gallery. the public pictures for in the profile section would be viewable by everyone in the forum. The private pictures would only be seen by those who the user share them with.
this is meant to a space for members of our community which is there to support all people with any financial insentive.
call it a form of a social media lite

clarkwinkelmann Thank u for reply. I just want to see front post picture procedure live. Maybe create test account for me? For now we are looking for alternatives to our forum engine, we are leaning towards Flarum, but for now we are looking for plugins that will be a worthy replacement for our current engine. So we do not have Flarum and I cannot install it on my server. That is why I am asking for a test account on your site. I will pay u donate for it, please let me just test it live. Maybe edit any exists account with example data like test@test.com with password 123. Can u do that?

Hi @clarkwinkelmann , the option to separate the album after I connected it from the discussion does not work. Does that mean it stays permanently connected?

neercsys it's supposed to work. Can you share your php flarum info output?

If you need a quick workaround you can edit the cimaise_album_id column on the discussions table. Set to NULL to dissociate.

neercsys I'm sorry I was not able to make more progress into this extension last year. I don't have precise timeline at this point but I'm hoping to work on updates in the coming months.

HarMan in the current version, the following permissions are available:

Read

View
View Exif data (including geolocation)

Create

Create personal albums
Create community albums
Change title and description of own album
Hide own album
Upload Pictures
Upload pictures without approval in personal albums
Upload pictures without approval in community albums
Use image editor on own picture (crop, mask and stickers)
Use image editor on own picture once published
Change license of own picture once published
Change title and description of own picture once published
Hide own picture
Publish pictures silently (without event posts)

Manually attach albums to discussions
Moderate

These permissions will get reworked a bit in a future update when I add the ability to upload pictures without a linked album.

If you are unsure if the extension works for you, you can purchase it to test and if it doesn't work I'll refund you.
