Subarist I'll think about it. I'm actually working on some settings to cover https://discuss.flarum.org/d/32359-show-profile-picture-of-the-last-person-replied-rather-than-op-pledge-ps100, so maybe I also allow to decide when this avatar should be shown here.

@rob006 thanks for the extension. I just installed it and I think there is a bug or so. When you are reading the dates of a discussion, you can see a difference between them, ie the main text and the text when you hover over the avatar.

Any idea what is going on?

Edit: The display mode is Replace main discussion avatar. I think we should include the date change apart from the image and this case.

Fixed reply time displayed when "Replace main discussion avatar" mode is enabled (thanks jslirola for reporting).

i found a bug and wanted to let you know!
the last reply avatar is bugged on the profile page discussion list. it doesnt show the last reply avatar but shows the post owner avatar instead.

It is by design - some views always display discussion author as an actor and this extension respects this decision. So it is not like this extension always shows avatar of last post author, it just shows avatar of user displayed in this place:

It does not change which user is displayed here.

yeah, userpage discussion list only shows who started it, but the last post avatar extension shows avatar if there is a reply, i think its best to disable it for that page only if its possible.

for example second discussion last replier is somebody else but it still shows the original poster avatar.
