cleda yes Flarum is free to use, you don't need to know coding but you will need to follow a few steps to install Flarum using the package manager Composer. Opposite of what yang555 says, Flarum does not need a VM, it can work on any PHP shared hosting environment that also has SSH/terminal/CLI access (so you can use Composer for installation).
