User creation/import

Tried searching for an answer but did not find anything. I’m wanting to import users from CSV or to create them manually.

Is there an extension already available or a way to do this easily?

Still looking for a solution for this.

I think I did and it didn't do what I needed.

Jeff-B user creation is now also possible from the admin area. An extension to import from csv can probably be commissioned, seeServices.
