Site name removal on the end of the title

There is a problem with the Title of the URL.

For example, my site name is "xyz.com - A place for discussion"

And i posted a discussion than the "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"

Then the title for this discussion if I bookmark or search is - "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz - xyz.com - A place for discussion"

How can i remove the "xyz.com - A place for discussion" from every discussion ?

xasharma you can customize the core.lib.meta_titles.without_page_title and core.lib.meta_titles.with_page_title translations using the Linguist extension or local extenders in extend.php to remove the site name from the page title syntax or use a different hard-coded string.

Unfortunately there's no way to customize it just for the discussion page, this would require some more advanced code on both PHP and javascript side.
