Date format choice

I hope Flarum can provide a feature to change the sorting of dates.

For example, the current date sorting format is mm dd yyyy, but I would like to be able to change it to the yyyy mm dd format commonly used by Asian users.

OMG at the moment, language packs are responsible for changing the time format.

I understand there could be a wish to have the date format independent from the selected language. An extension could easily provide a global or user preference for it. But I don't think such an extension exists at this time.

Due to hard-coding constraints, the date in the Chinese language package needs to be modified in the core. Otherwise, the sorting of dates will appear strange.

But when we are in other environment (for example Chinese), the date becomes very strange

Here it should be "注册于 1月 16", not "注册于 16 1月"

This may not be a simple problem that can be fixed on the language pack, as we have tried some

I think Flarum should add an option for the date display format, just like the date format in the language settings in XenForo.

I think no one really bothered to do that for Chinese. I also think this is not really documented anywhere.

luceos I think the issue is also that the humanTime util isn't overridable,
