encountering " Opps " when start a new post

my site had upgraded to 1.8.1 from 1.7; Today I tried to start a new posting; but i got a "ooops... something wrong".. After I tested for a while, I found the problem is the mention "@something". Means I cannot add mention @ in body of post; and If i removed the " mention @ ", it can post successfully.

Any help or headups i can use for fix?

kebindong you need to update your mentions version to the latest not just core.

kebindong From the type of problem, I would say that it is possibly an error in the mail configuration. Since @something sends a notification (possibly by mail), that could be where the error resides.

Can you give more details, do you have access to the last error log when you reproduce this error?

GreXXL thanks for help. I just checked my the mentions extension, it is new version v1.8.2. this extension was synchronously updated while update the core.
