I'd like to actively maintain the Slovak flarum translation, as I found out that it's not maintained at all.
How can I do it, do I need to have anything approved and do I need permission from the original author?

Derbosik Your starting point is to engage with the leads of the translation team, this is their topic https://discuss.flarum.org/d/27519-the-flarum-language-project. Whether or not you can adopt the Slovak translation depends on a few factors that will need to be considered, @rob006 or @Justoverclock will get in touch with you here as soon as they can.

Derbosik Slovak language pack already has a maintainer. But you don't need to ba a maintainer to translate - just crate an account and translate directly through Weblate: https://weblate.rob006.net/languages/sk/flarum/

rob006 4 Core strings need to be approved and you can publish a release with the entire core translated 😁

Hi, I am the current maintainer of the language pack. It was indeed not being updated because very few people were interested in actively using the pack, so other things simply took priority in my life.

However, I am happy to see that the pack has received some attention recently, and I would love to help you get a few new releases out. Do you maybe have some socials (preferably Discord, etc...?) where I can contact you?
