install flarum and database separate.

I would like to know if it is possible to install flarum on one side and its database separate from the system where is flarum located?
I'm asking this because flarum is installed in a container and I already have a mariadb container assigned to this. Anyway, tell me if I'm clear

As long as the Flarum container can reach the mariadb container it should be fine. During installation it will mention the database host, use the correct host for the mariadb container.

luceos It's because the installer presents me with a blank page. Which makes sense, because it doesn't know the IP address of the mariadb container, hence my question. Or is it the config file I'm changing the IP?

alexon an ip can be the host too, yes. But as said, the container has to be able to connect to the mariadb container. The install page will show an error if it cannot connect though. When exactly do you see a blank page?

I'm not sure you understand what I mean. The IP address of my mariadb container is 192.168.1.101, while my flarum container is 192.168.1.53. I'm just trying to find out where I can let flarum know that it needs to use the IP 192.168.1.101, to create a table under mariadb.

alexon update the host entry under database in the config.php or delete the config.php and restart the installer.

And where is the config.php file? I had already seen this info ( https://docs.flarum.org/config/ ) without finding this file.
