Flarum AutoMore

Extension Analytics

This extension searches for, and automatically selects the "load more" button on Flarum pages. This makes infinite loading of discussions on the homepage and in tags much easier to handle.

Hi katos,
let me spend sometime to say to you thank you !!! ❀️ 🌻

  • thank you for giving your time and attention to consider my post that was looking for support information about the ex-extension.
  • thank you for your reply to the post and next replies too
  • thank you for taking the time and the care to fork the extension and to made a new updated one, to take the maintain of this nice auto more function that without this extension, would be no possible.

Not often I'm so lucky to get a fix, a reply and... as this case to see a died nice extension take again life thanks to a developer that takes care of them.

Thank you 😊 ❀️

Thank you for reviving the extension.
Is there a possibility to add a feature in the backend that allows admin to specify the number of pages to automatically load or infinite loading?

I had installed this extension before, but I struggled with enabling and disabling it.
Perhaps setting page limits could help find a better balance.

Subarist hmm, not sure how useful that'd be but I can have a look and see whats what.
What issues are you having with enabling and disabling the extension?

        katos

The extension itself is not problematic.
The auto loading pages is very convenient. However, on pages with a higher number of posts, the endless loading can be somewhat tedious at times. Moreover, it doesn't effectively load the footer or some bottom ads.

Waterhole, by default, only auto-loads content for 2 pages.
        on Waterhole / on Flarum
I appreciate this kind of compromise, and if it were possible to set the number of loads, it would be perfect for Flarum to match the needs of different types of content on websites.

Subarist ahh! I’m with you, that makes sense. Does Waterhole restrict this by tag then, or…?

            katos
I'm not entirely sure, but I'm thinking, in Flarum, is there a chance to use aria-posinset="19" or "39", the maximum values, as a condition?

NorioDS one thing you should do is mark your own extension abandoned on packagist.org, a field will pop up to set the successor.

NorioDS No worries, thank YOU @NorioDS for laying the groundwork for this.
Happy to grant you maintainer rights to the repo of course, just let me know πŸ™‚

              Love it! Works fine.
Unfortunately, this means that you can no longer see the footer of the forum where the imprint and contact information is listed πŸ™
