Flarum database is configured with sensible indexes and the search should work out of the box.
If you are referring to being indexed by search engines, there is nothing specific to Flarum. You can submit your website URL to the various search engines and wait for them to crawl your website. There are community SEO and sitemap extensions that makes some of the information more accessible to search engines but are not strictly required.
We recommend using one of the install method in our documentation instead of Softaculous as you might end up unable to install extensions or update Flarum with Softacolous.
