Why Error 500

Site Experiencing Error 500 upon Initiating Activity on Extension Manager.

I've attached the error-log, php flarum info and error at browser console at below.
I've been experiencing this Error 500 issue since last few days. Just now, I've request my host to initiate composer install again followed by php flarum cache:clear again for the 3rd time. Upon initiated, The site was back normal and i checked my files the autoload.php file was there in the vendor folder. However, Upon accessing as an administrator and start working on the extension manager, The site produced an error [Oops something went wrong...], managed to capture the error produced at the browser console and upon reloading the page, it became inaccessible again with the same http error 500. When i checked my vendor folder again, I realized the autoload.php file is missing again. Which probably means, every time composer install is initiated the autoload.php is there but then it would disappear right after that.

KARAM_SIDHU I could imagine your host has some automatic script that does remove the file (maybe due to used resources in the shared hosting environment).

GreXXL @eshanized It happens like On and Off. Sometimes, i am able to conduct extension related actions such as Purge, Uninstall and as well as Add New Extension via the Extension Manager but not as smooth as it should in which the Oops error would appear but then when refreshed the Actions were successfully carried out. The same goes to whenever the inaccessible error [500] appears, any actions I've carried out before the error are actually done when i checked upon when it is made to be accessible.

@KARAM_SIDHU Maybe your PHP is not configured properly. Run php -v to see your PHP Version. Or the problem may raise after you install flarum and again you change your php version.

KARAM_SIDHU the explanation will be found in the log file. Please share the error messages from the log files. Check both Flarum log file as described in our troubleshooting documentation and the webserver general error log file.

Should i try running uninstall fof/upload at composer to entirely remove the extension to check the issue further?

The checking done by Web Host shows that the database for fof-upload having no column nor row to enter the data might be the issue.

Whereas the Log File that i've extracted is extremely long, Around 104 Pages. How should i provide it within?

Do the Extension Manager has specific/additional php function requirement, can i get the list of the requirements instead?

The column hide_from_media_manager was renamed to hidden in FoF Upload v1.5.

Based on your log file, the error Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'hide_from_media_manager' in 'where clause seems to happen during a regular API request and not the activation, likely when the user attributes extender retrieves the count for the relation User::foffilesCurrent which itself filters by that column.

We don't see FoF Upload in your php flarum info output above, but I suspect you installed FoF Upload 1.5+ at some point but now have a version <1.5 installed, which fails to boot when it doesn't see the old column name.

Flarum extensions (and their database in particular) are not designed to be downgraded. You need to install FoF Upload 1.5+ or revert to a backup from before you updated the database if you wish to stick on an older version.

KARAM_SIDHU the video confirms my suspicion that your FoF Upload version is outdated.

The errors in the extension manager are probably because your hosting is not giving you enough memory or execution time. If your host cannot allocate more ressources you might have to look for a more powerful hosting or try running Composer from the command line.

clarkwinkelmann Updating the host on regards of the resources. In regards to the fof/upload should i completely uninstall it and remove all associated with it first via command line or should i just update it? The right command should be uninstall fof/upload or update fof/upload right?

The Composer command for removing an extension is composer remove fof/upload

KARAM_SIDHU Upon requested, They've increased the memory_limit to [I've Removed it for Public Privacy] and max_execution_time to [I've Removed it for Public Privacy]. This should be at a sufficient level for flarum, right?
