Hi there,
I found some similar threads on this topic but nothing about my specific issue.
I noticed in the permissions tab (under administration) that there is a default 'Members' group. However this group can't be mentioned in a post. For example, when you type @Members nothing appears.
To get around this I created a new, separate Members group, I entered 'Member' in the singular section and 'Members' in the plural section.
I used the same icon from font awesome but I added a blue colour to help distinguish between the two Member groups in the admin panel. I then assigned every user to the new Members group and mentioned the group in a post to test it.
Strangely when I select the @Members tag in the post, it says "We could not find any user matching your search." It also seems to be tagging the default Members group and not the new Members group I made. I can delete the default Members tag and replace it with the new Members tag to show a list of users in the new Members tag. However, when I go back to the post and select Members I have the same problem where none of the members are listed and seemingly none of them are mentioned in the post.
Is there a way around this? Is this happening because I made a new tag and gave it the same name as the default Members tag?
I have screenshots to demonstrate what I mean but not sure how to add these to this post.
Any help is appreciated 🙂
