adrianm I'll have a look at widgets but can't promise anything. I guess it's going to be hard to deal with this stuff as each extension may alter the structure of the site in its own way and make it incompatible with other extensions. In this case it looks like the theme and widgets should be able to work nicely together though, I just need to dive into the widget code a bit and see what it's looking for. That might not be for a couple weeks at least now as I need to get onto a few other things.

If you have to “transform” the theme to make the widgets compatible, then I'm against it. Maybe it's better to create widgets just for this theme, but that would require even more work....
Don't worry. It was just a suggestion. If you can do it without distorting the theme, it's good.... If not, forget it 😉
