thumbs up button with gamification extension

The issue

I installed gamification. It seems, it is not possible to use the flarum default grey thumbs up button, but only a more noticeable thumbs up emoji (I only want to allow upvotes, like in discuss.flarum.org).

However I would like to stay with the default grey thumbs up button (the way it seems to be in discuss.flarum.org). Am I missing something?

User25 discuss uses the regular likes extension, which works in isolation to gamification. Discuss uses gamification only for upvotes which are placed underneath the OP avatar of a discussion on tags that have it enabled.

luceos Ah OK, I see. So in these tag discussions, where gamification is enabled you have both ....

User25 exactly. They co-exist. But we primarily use flarum/likes, because dogfeeding is the best way to do QA 🙈
