[Request] Please make buttons (UI Text) for extensions translatable as well

Issue:
I have actually three langauages installed and all the language options are shown in the dropdown in english instead in their own respective native language.

It might look like a minor or a negligible issue for some but it isn't in my opinion because a lot of people (mostly elderly) doesn't even understand a single word in english but they surely understand their own language.

So please make buttons (UI Text) for extensions translatable as well, or at least make it a requirement to use stings/strip tags as text for the UI.

treyb I don't think that works, those names are pulled from the language pack composer.json instead of the translator... Not sure what the best solution is. If we provide both English and native label for the language, we also need a way for the forum admin to choose which one to display as some will want the English

I was about to reply with this exact message this morning. Some people might want this new way of handling the dropdown, while others might want the old. If we do this, both options need to be available and as Clark mentions, this might not as simple as just adding the translated label.
