My choice would also be (B), but I would prefer to keep the time in its current position, following the username.
As you mentioned, the card layout is quite difficult to utilize, and I would prefer to reserve the right half of the space for extensions such as ''badge' or "unread" ex..

Subarist These are the cards from the private message list (clicking on them would show the conversation with the user), so we shouldn't expect any badges like the ones you see in discussions or posts.

Yes, yes, I completely understand. It’s just that from the previous example, it seems like the unread or message count could be displayed on the avatar. I simply prefer not to make the avatar so complicated and to allow the user card to stand out more. As it is now, there's no problem at all.

SychO Things like group messages and multiple recipients are not gonna be part of the first iteration in 2.0

Maybe I could help with the development of this to make it available faster?
