FoF Pages Plugin, Can't Go to URL if it ends in "/"

I'm in a habit of putting a / after I type out a URL. I think is technically best practice, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a page hosted at my forum, domain.com/about-us for example. It works as it should. However, if I navigate to domain.com/about-us/, it doesn't work.

I can't say I've ever had this problem when building a website, and I'm not exactly sure what causes it. How can I somehow fix this, without manually hard coding rewrites?

Also, is there anyway to remove /p/ or /t/ from the slug?

This could probably be added to the extension. I recommend posting feedback, bugs etc for specific extensions in their respective discussion, authors are more likely to see those comments than new discussions.
