Is There a Way to Use FoF Night Mode Whilst Keeping Site Default to Dark?

I like to toggle between light/dark mode, and I want my users to do so as well, however, the dark mode on my site just looks better. I want the default view to be dark mode, but it seems the FoF Night Mode extension doesn't work at all if the default isn't set to light mode. Anyone have a solution?

What does "doesn't work at all" mean?

luceos if the site default color mode is set to dark, then clicking the toggle to go between light/dark does nothing. It only works if the site default is set to light mode, only then will toggling between light/dark work.

I can record a video if I'm not wording this properly.

That sounds like a bug. Can you please ask questions specific to certain extensions in their respective discussions. As mentioned before, this way the author/maintainer or people using the extension are more likely to respond and a more accurate answer can be expected.
