serdo some icons are font awesome pro, also currently font awesome on their website shows 6 primarily. Flarum uses FA 5 unless you use the extension: https://flarum.org/extension/blomstra/fontawesome

EDIT: 😂Geezuz cripes, I added that entire code to the FA6 extension in the bit where it sez to stick a URL.

First thing I noticed after hitting 'Save' & shootin' out the front, was all the FA icons had vanished....🤣 seconds later a big notification appeared, saying some sh#t about Cloudfare being upset.
So I hastily bounced out back and purged it.

EDIT #2: Does anyone know if there's a way to bypass having to pay for FA6 Pro icons?
Buggered if I'm coughing up a cent, let alone what is it, $50-$100 nak per year, just to access a handful of FA6 Pro's privileged-(yet ultimately bloody worthless)-crappy icons.
Should be free for everyone.

Just so you know. These people have been building thé most extensive icon sets for years, the fact that they monetize a fraction of those icons to actually make a living off of their hard work - in my humble opinion - only makes sense. You're not obligated to use the pro icons by subscribing to them; you can still use all of the other free icons from every set.

We should respect these people for their hard work and appreciate that they've been able to make a living off of it. Only with money are they guaranteed to continue giving more. That people that freely give, are obligated to give everything for free is just the craziest notion. And yes, I relate; so many people burn out due to open source work while asking for naught, yet people still complain that the free things they are the recipient of, should come sooner, must be more reliable, contains a bug or two. As if these developers/artists have nothing else to worry about; as if they don't have families, need a house or food.

Please be respectful of the hard work of others, you can have an opinion, but understand well how this reflects to others in a similar situation.

Weird thing about that is, whenever I've tried using the FA6 extension—💥—numerous FA5 icons suddenly turn into those wonderful little upright rectangles with an 'X' through the middle.

Probably most notable transmutation into these crossed out rectangle FA5 icons, would be that rarest of all FA icons...😄the '👍'.
