Hide "online for the last time"

Can I somehow hide the fact that the profile shows when a user was online? Or only allow it for admins?

I am aware that you can do this under settings. Unfortunately, we have many users who have little or no knowledge of IT. For reasons of data protection and to avoid “stalking”, we would like to deactivate this globally as default.

We use the latest forum + user directory

That would be great!
If you really want to share your online status publicly, you should set it yourself. I don't think it's a good default option either.

luceos There I have set that only admins can see it. However, this only applies to profiles that have deactivated the online status display. If this is not the case, all members, and even guests can see when someone was / or is online.

I want NO ONE (except admins) to be able to see when a user was / or is online. It would be perfect to deactivate this setting by default for everyone, or perhaps hide it via CSS in the profile and user directory?

Settings → privacy → Allow others to see when I am online
