Install extensions with Plesk Obsidian

Hi all,
I installed Plesk and later Flarum without difficulty.

Now I would like to install flarum extensions but I don't know how to do it with Plesk since in the previous server I didn't use it. The extensions I had in the server before the migration remained but I can't install new ones from the flarum admin panel.

Has anyone had the same problem and can suggest a solution?

LordZargum you could install extensions for Flarum with the extension manager, it comes bundled with your install if you install using an archive: https://docs.flarum.org/install/#installing-by-unpacking-an-archive

Or you can manually install it from the commandline:

composer require flarum/extension-manager:*

So the issue is that this author removed all their extensions and their git archives. You will need to remove this extension in order to install new ones and update existing ones:

composer remove zerosonesfun/composer-preview

The extension manager also support removing extensions, remove zerosonesfun/composer-preview.

LordZargum You can install an app from the Plesk application store that allows you to enter SSH commands.

Go to the directory where Flarum is installed:

cd /var/www/vhosts/domain.org/file_name

For PHP, use the following code (replace 8.2 with your own PHP version):

/opt/plesk/php/8.2/bin/php

Composer directory:

/usr/local/bin/composer/

Example cron command:

cd /var/www/vhosts/domain/flarum_path && /opt/plesk/php/8.2/bin/php flarum schedule:run

I use Plesk as well, and these worked for me. I hope you understand the logic.

LordZargum a last resort measure is the following:

edit the composer.json file remove the whole line that lists zerosonesfun/composer-preview
delete the composer.lock
run composer update --prefer-dist --no-dev -a

That should restore your forum and remove the broken extension in one swoop.
