Telegram Notifications for New Discussions in Specific Forum Category?

Hi all,

Is there a way to receive a Telegram notification whenever a new discussion is started in a specific forum category? Any suggestions or tools would be appreciated. Thanks!

chienbg2000 I actually think you can do this without using a extension

First, if your forum doesn’t have RSS (domain.com/rss), install the Syndication extension.

After that, you can send new discussion notifications to Telegram, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, or even a smart light in your home 😁

For this, I recommend IFTTT (RSS to Telegram). I use it for all kinds of automation, including with my smart home products. You can also use RSS.app specifically for Telegram notifications.

This should be a simple enough solution for you. Plus, as I mentioned, you can receive notifications on almost anything, not just Telegram!
