Visual Cue for "New" or "Unread" posts?

Do most prefer just a bold title to show something is new and unread, or do most like something more visual to show that there is new content? Either before the title, or after?

I did a quick run and added a .svg before the title, as well as text after, just to see.

Having a visual clue next to the bolded title name is nice as well. We run a forum for the 'more mature' folk of the net and have found it useful to have the new next to the title as well just for the extra identification of new posts ?.

wignu I believe this is one of the intentions of the revamp.

I have only added one, the .svg

I was just looking at changing up the look and seeing what else could be done to stretch away from the "standard" Flarum look. I was more or less just seeing which looked better to the community.

I've done the same with the "TAGS" area, but again, it's just adding small things. Plus, not keen on the scroll bar appearing in the block itself, so made the height larger as well.

I think there should be an indication in the thread itself which comments are unread. When I open a thread I have no idea which are new and which I have already read. Different background color or an icon, or something else.

SnakePromise this shouldn't be too difficult to achieve with an extension.

The post scrubber (the timeline on the right) also shows roughly which part of the discussion is unread, but this can be hard to read when there are many discussions.
