Berlyn Than why the Flarum is not opening on Android EMULATOR/Webview while all others do?

Toby I think it happen because of unstable Internet connection, it never happens when I'm on desktop with stable Internet connection, it also happen when using esotalk on my phone.

So, I prefer to show nothing when something went wrong, to prevent annoying user when they're reading the discussion

Well, what if something went wrong while we loaded the discussion? There's no way around these errors - but yes, maybe we can work on making them more informative.

Felli Thank you. But here for me its not working. Strange! I have tried from my local Android Studio Emulator as well!

It's because of the Chrome's feature compress data I think.

Nicely done. I like the preview without a preview button. Can't wait 🙂

Toby Refresh button on the discussion list. This will be automatically hidden by the Pusher extension when I get around to writing that.

Isn't this possible any other way? How is Discourse doing it? Having to push the refresh button to find out new posts/replies (it doesn't refresh notifications either) is a chore. Now, having to rely on a third party service makes me uneasy.

Fastidious I think we'll eventually have a short-polling solution in core (i.e. check for new stuff every 30 seconds, same as esoTalk does). But it's not a priority just yet.

Toby Emojis are automatically converted to Twemoji so everyone sees them the same.

Sorry if I might seen to be coming back here to dissect things. This "feature," will it be configurable? I detest Emojis and emoticons.

      Toby
polling or web socket should be used to update without a refresh button. That's one of the great Esotalk features. So Flarum also should support automatic updates.

pwFoo isn't that what he just wrote, or am I missing something?

I know one idea that could cut that memory footprint by ATLEAST a 3rd. And save 33% bandwidth. Within flarum's core.

Deleting all of Toby's posts is a bit harsh 😉

          Toby unstickied the discussion .
