  • Oops! Something went wrong...

After the last update I see a lot of error messages on my screen. They say there are some problems on the server but forum works.

alexfox Hey mate, can you be a little more descriptive about the errors? Are you able to post some screenshots of the errors or code snippets from the console?

Berlyn I think @Toby knows what am I talking about. Just a message: Oops! Something went wrong on the server. Please reload the page and try again

      • Toby replied to this.

By the way I discovered that forum doesn't work correctly. I can't mark thread as read by swiping it 🙁

alexfox When are you seeing these messages? Can you give steps to reproduce the error?

I am not seeing those error messages at my end. I am on desktop, not mobile.

Toby I see them when opening Flarum and reading any thread. I think that they appear when Flarum wants to mark something as read by me. Now I am typing this message and these erors appear on their own.

I did have the same issue on mobile when I opened the topic "Dev forum updated – watch out for regressions!". No messages of error except the message on a red banner. I was on Chrome on my Galaxy S5. But I was able to read the topic just fine.

@Toby, also there are some problems with the keyboard. If I type fast (as I usually do) it could miss some of the letters so I have to type them twice. Sometimes errors appear when typing.
What I want to say is that it is hell to use Flarum after the last update 🙁

Also would like to add, @Toby, that it doesn't autocomplete logins when typing @ after this update.

Additional info: I didn't do anything special, just opening a topic and scrolling the page or typing a reply (like this one) and it will showed up.

Using Chrome for Android on ASUS Zenfone 5.

spasi, the same but on latest Chrome with latest Android @Nexus 5

It showing up too when i tried to upload an avatar and failed. Maybe it's only a problem when accessed from mobile?

spasi, seems to be so. It appears always and not only when reading or uploadng an avatar.
