aravinth there's a 500 error. Check Flarum log file at <flarum>/storage/logs for details.

I have already set client_max_body_size=50MB on nginx, post_max_size=50MB upload_max_filesize=50MB on PHP, 51200KB on FoF Upload Max File.

Fix by change memory_limit to 512MB , ref:Fatal Error: Allowed Memory Size of 134217728 Bytes Exhausted

The download template is downloaded by PHP agent by default. After opening the anti-theft chain, it can't be downloaded. How can I solve it?

allen13 can you describe your hosting in more details? You have software that blocks PHP downloading the file internally? Are you able to whitelist Flarum or the local IP so it can make requests without limits?

clarkwinkelmann I used OSS to store files and started referer. Cannot download when using the default download template.

How do I delete a file that I have uploaded, please?

adam42 In the post editor, click on the My Media button (looks like a filmstrip and a photo), and all of your uploaded files are displayed, with a delete icon on the top right of each one.

EDIT: Just realised you can also access My Media from your profile page.

JohnP k Hi JohnP, I had checked that out, but the warning message says:

Are you sure you want to hide "unity-statement-20210903.pdf"? Hiding a file will only remove it from your media manager and will not affect existing posts.

I'm looking for a way to clear down unwanted files completely and free space. I assume just hiding them won't help.

adam42 although some information is stored about where files have been uploaded, there is no functionality implemented yet to actually delete files from posts that are deleted.

Just realised I haven't a clue whether you can clear down anything else in Flarum - for instance, a thread? I'm just wondering whether the resources would stay together, so if you deleted a thread, it would also delete the files that belong to the thread.

Guess I've got heightened awareness around this after spending hours trying to free up room on my iCloud account 🤣

Sometimes (not always), when I click on the upload button, it refuses to function, i.e. it does not open up the default "choose file" window.
Is there any way to delete files manually so that I save the local disk space?

Yes, you can delete them from the media manager (hover on upper right corner of the image)
