That's normal. The API works anonymously by default. OAuth authentication would be needed for the API to work on behalf of a user's account

I am trying to allow the upload of PPT and PPTX file.
I've tried several mimetypes, but I didn't find the rright one yet.:
- (application\/(ppt|pptx))
- ppt
- pptx

The system keep telling me that "Uploading files of this type is not allowed."
