Facebook Extension Issue

Hello everyone. I just enabled the Facebook login function and set up the App in Facebook Developer section. When I try to sign up using Facebook in my flarum, this is what I get:

Hi, I am a first time user of Flarum as well. Flarum is up and running just fine, but I want Facebook logins before I build the community out. So on the Facebook login page, (URL is below), I'm just getting an internal server error.

This is my first time using both Flarum and Facebook logins, so unfortunately it's difficult for me to tell if the problem is on the Facebook side or the Flarum side. I'll try to see if I can find something in the logs and post here.

OK so I'm getting a bunch of depreciation warnings on the server (though I'm unclear whether this is causing the internal server error). Is there a quick way to fix this?

KaiShih replace error_reporting in your php ini:
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED & ~E_STRICT & ~E_USER_DEPRECATED

As for the facebook issue, it looks like there is a bug with incorrect facebook api version check in league/oauth2-facebook.
Just comment out line 111 in vendor/league/oauth2-facebook/src/Provider/Facebook.php:
//$fields[] = 'bio';

I have the same issue but removing still no solve the issue.
Users get stuck with empty page.

krakmh Make sure you run php flarum cache:clear and then disable/enable the Facebook extension.

I don't understand why i have this problem knowing that i use Facebook graphApiVersion 2.8.

The check is for less than 2.8 :

What's do mean "bio" ?

LuffyyffuL the "bio" thing is meant to include the user Bio (like in biography, user info) on older Facebook's API versions. It is no longer used from 2.8 and on.

It seems this piece of code is no longer needed.

Confirmed, commenting out line 111 fixes fb-login issue. This should be an issue and made a pull request.

I can confirm the issue. Installed Flarum on a DO droplet running Ubuntu 16.04 64bit and had this issue. Commenting the line fixed the issue. Thanks.

Commenting out line 111 works for my account (facebook developer account only). But other people get empty page.
I'm using Flarum with Nginx 1.10 at Vultr.

maruco it's displayed in the phpinfo() data. php --ini in the command line will also give you useful data if you're unable to locate it.

For example on Ubuntu 16.04 with PHP 7.1 and Apache it's /etc/php/7.1/apache2/php.ini

gdledsan League added compatibility for <2.8 6 months ago.

Edit: I joined @maruco and singed up using Facebook SSO and I didn't run into any issues.

riartem It won't. You can comment out or erase that line. I've seen only Bazaar extension tends to make that Facebook.php start over.
