I might try to integrate the money extension with the official Likes extension in the next days/weeks. However, I have no idea how difficult this integration is.

Well, its okay if you don't release it soon, probably you wasn't thinking about that.

But, i have the experience extension and, the money extension, and while keep the experience extension for "user level and so on" i was thinking if could be possible to use the money extension to add "another type of value" for that people who participates and gives value to a discussion.

in my situation, is a community related with a software, so it is more a questions and answers, make sense use the money ext to give a type of reputation, depending on how much likes or right answer that user may have.

Is good that you will try to integrate it. Good luck then 😃

Perhaps there could be integration with Gamification too then (user selectable, or based on which is active?). The gamification extension adds up votes/downvotes, and can be displayed on the user profile like this extension. Perhaps that could also be a solution for you @Hakira ? Ideally for me, you could optionally combine the two extensions and give "money" for liked/upvoted posts.

I am now working on the integration with the official Likes extension, it has some cool events that I can use to give money when a post is liked / unliked.

I will try to add an integration with the official Likes extension first because ... it's official 😃 and it doesn't seem too complicated, I saw that there are already 2 events that I can use : 1 when a like is given and 1 when it's removed ; so there aren't too many differences with the existing code.

For the fof gamification extension, I only see 1 event : PostWasVoted so I will need to investigate a bit more, but I'll do this in a second time 🙂

I've tested to give permissions to certain profiles => OK
Tried to remove some points and add back ==> OK

As @huuduy216 said, partnering with gamification would be nice, features like getting automatically some points if X level is reached ^^.
Here some other ideas if you need some for the future:

Having a personal space where you can spend some through custom button actions
Being able to vote and/or see results in "FoF/Poll" if you accept to spend some "money"
Being able to transfer part of your own "money" between members

The extension works well on b14, thanks for that! Now I'm just trying to figure out the use of it? It's a counter that increases when you reply and post, but you can't do anything with that currency?

Hmmm, I'm thinking about accessing tags only when having >= points, send other users some money, set a max global economy, reward users. Not saying you have to do it, just throwing ideas 😀

SKevo I think it's because when enabling the extension, you closed the Settings window without clicking Save, and the settings weren't added to the database.

I pushed a fix (v0.9.1) for this, can you confirm it works better now ?

Antoine on beta.14.1, the settings window doesn't appear after enabling an extension. Is this an issue on our side or is that a feature?

Right now we're migrating to beta.14.1, I will let you know if it works after we update.
