rm -f <logfile>

you might need sudo to do it and if you get a permission denied, run:

touch <logfile>
sudo chown <webuser> <logfile>

luceos yeah, the problem is I have installed Flarum on local with composer and then uploaded to my host, they do not give SSH access for security reasons...is there another way?

staion please don't hijack a thread (especially one as important as this one) with many different small issues.

      I'm going to split this.

staion this question has been answered many times before. Uploading a local version is currently the only solution. Finding a host with ssh access will be beneficial anyway though, unless you want to wait for the stable version.

What hijack?! It was related to that thread...I have the same errors...I just needed to know how to clear the log if it's getting to big...and then you pointed a solution and I explained that I can't with my install...

staion This thread is intended to solve the problem of why you can't do that with your install.

staion This isn't punitive, it's just good organization on our part. If you need more assistance with resolving the local - to- server toolchain, then use this discussion.

Sorry, but this is not how a moderation should have worked...I don't want to offend anyone...just that I was a MOD for many years and this is a bit wrong and misleading...confusing...moving discussions around...not really helping with organization...I don't think cluttering the forum with useless threads like this is ideal...just saying.

Someone with the same errors could have just needed to know how to stop making the log bigger...without composer

I was actually explaining to jordanjay29 that the split extension was never fully completed as I planned it. It should have left a informative Post that links to the new discussion and the new discussion should have linked back to the old one explaining their references. Once I've finished the first version of byobu I will take a look at the split extension to implement that.

staion I'm happy to talk to you about any criticisms via Gitter. Find me there @jordanjay29 if you want. Otherwise, let's stick to resolving the issues.

Like I said, I never wanted to insult anyone...just some thoughs
