Except when it comes to Byōbu. Then admins are only demigods. Thanks @luceos! Not all admins can see private discussions had by other users or (soon) by specific groups.
Up to this point, I have had a number of tags setup as private discussion tags for different departments in our office. Of course, admins have always had ability to peer in where maybe they ought not look. My admin permissions page looks like this…
Yikes! Once Byōbu is in place, most of those tags and permissions can be removed. And, actual private conversations can be had.
So, in conclusion, there is still benefit to assigning additional groups to an admin user … in some situations.
