webeindustry I very much agree, mid-range or budget phones are starting to have all the features necessary. Especially if you look at companies like BLU or OnePlus who focus on that, their build quality is usually better than the budget lines of the big makers, who want to make them look unappealing in comparison to their pretty flagships.
That said, I have an LG G4 right now. I enjoy that it has a removable battery, that's saved me a few times, but it looks like the upcoming version won't have it. So it's back to the drawing board when I need a new phone, which I probably won't look for until mine is dead or dangerously falling apart.
