Extension oAuth2 client / authentication for Custom / Abstract oAuth2 Server

Hey guys!

I've been quite actively posting and asking questions here for the past week. Thank you all for your support!

Now I have yet another question. How do I start to implement an oAuth2 ? ? (quite vague I know).

So far I got a docker dev environment and an extension that is echoing the "Hello world".

I've been looking on how some of you guys implemented the Facebook, twitter and the github oAuth clients. Even so I am still quite confused to how the listeners are setup and where I should start.

Context

I have a Laravel 5.4 running passport and I want to do the authentication through it.
I thought I might be using this repo for oAuth2 client.

Any hints will be much appreciated ?

c_costel Are your two websites on the same domain? Maybe OAuth isn't the best option. Did you have a look at this?

Davis Yep they are. But I still need oAuth since there will be other web/mobile apps that will require the oAuth. Thanks for the shoutout! I am leaving the office now but will check in back tomorrow.

c_costel If I were you, I'd connect the two sites using the discussion I posted and leave the OAuth for the other services. If you use OAuth for Flarum, if a user who is logged in on your website goes to the forum, they would have to sign in again.
