We definitely need custom dropdown menu's

It just doesn't feel right when compared to all the other beautiful elements surrounding it. If you know what I mean.

I think using the same style as
for custom drop down selects would be ideal (little bit more compact though)

What's your thoughts?

capecarlo there is a dropdown component in Flarum. And it has been used instead of a native <select> for discussion sorting since this discussion was created.

What exactly would you put in the dropdown menu you describe ?

I need this too, because some persons prefer seeing the lasts posts instead, it's important to choose what's the default option. I'm not alone to request this.
It's not easy to dig into the code it's not like a classic laravel framework where you can find the involved blade file...

I don't understand what you guys are suggesting. The dropdown for choosing the discussion sorting is there. The same component is available to extension developers. What do you suggest adding/changing ? 🤔

No blade file is involved with dropdowns as they are a javascript component.
