I have been recently finding a lot of abandoned extensions, or extensions that don't work anymore. A lot of these are things I would want. Instead of waiting for people to update them, I have decided to take it upon myself to update some of them to work on the newest version on flarum.

As you do so, just be mindful of the licenses to be sure you have permission to do so. Most extensions are MIT licensed, but if they lack a license file, even if they're on Github, they're considered All Rights Reserved and you'd likely need to contact the author to get permission or rewrite extension from scratch.
