Cool that this works again. By the way, is there some way to embed Flarum as comments in wordpress now? I remember there was an incompatible plugin for embedding flarum, but I never got it to work...

I see a couple others have had this problem. I have this all set up. And, the user is automatically created and added to the Flarum database, but I am not logged into Flarum. So, I assume the remember me cookie isn't being set. Strange. It's OK though. I don't think this is exactly what I would want. I would want some kind of crazy magical single sign on extension which allows one to sign up either at my Flarum forum, or my WordPress site, and then the same username/password works at both. This sounds like it is almost that. But not quite.

Uh oh. This wasn't working for me so I removed the extension. Now my login / signup links are broken. The URL is now mysite.com/undefined. Anyone know how to fix this?

Update: I had to delete the forum.js files in the public assets folder to get my login URLs back. This way they regenerated with the original/proper code.

I actually tryng this on my local machine but it was not able to login on flarum system. But it create entry on database.
Would anybody help me?

abhishek Glad I'm not the only one. Maybe this extension is coded in such a way that it only works if your sites are set up one certain way. Even though the posts above say it should work with various slightly different set ups.

I'm sure one day someone will chime in with thoughts around why the cookie isn't being set.

abhishek actually after debugging i find ,

site from which i send request for loggedin, cookie for forum_remember is set bu after redirect only forum_session cookie is set and the user not able to get logged in on forum set up.

Is anybody is try this plugin other than wordpress setup ?

wuethrich uner subdomain i.e on my flarum site flarum_remember cookie is not present but site where I create request for logged in it was creating the flarum_remember cookie. but after redirect to the falrum site it will only show flarum session cookie.
Now what to do.

ShirishaAnish What is the Flarum version you are using? Maybe you have to upgrade to beta 8.1 or you require version 1.1.2 of this plugin. If this doesn't help post your composer.json for further debugging.

@abhishek @010101 This plugin only works if flarum runs in a subdomain (i.e. mainsite runs under example.com and flarum runs under flarum.example.com). If you run the installation under localhost with different ports it doesn't work.

wuethrich Hi, Totaaly agree with you. My mainsite is example.com and larum runs under flarum.example.com.
when i send request for log in from example .com. it will redirect to the flarum.example.com, also make wntry to the database of that user. but not able to log in.

wuethrich for log in smtp set up is required. so if mail is not able to sendd and so due to this not able to sign in.

ShirishaAnish Run composer show flarum/core and it will show you the current version of Flarum.
