dadiocoleman You can simply create a token from your command line:

strings /dev/random | grep -o '[[:alnum:]]' | head -n 30 | tr -d '\n'; echo

or just hit randomly on your keyboard...

Now waiting for a Flarum "production ready" release... Because if I don't I'm afraid it will break at one point.

I really really really want to use Flarum!! It is sooo beautiful, but it is in its beta and it lacking core features. Hopefully it won't be too long before this becomes mainstream.

Hey guys. I'm trying to figure out how to integrate this to my website.

I follow all the steps (even though they are limited) but I cant get it to work.

Should I technically only need the following code to get it to work? Because it doesn't work for me:

$forum = new Forum();
$forum->login('username', 'a@b.c');
$forum->redirectToForum();

Using your test page "index.php" works fine, but when I implement those four lines of code into my own page,
it simply doesn't do anything.

On top of that, calling a php script that contains "$forum->redirectToForum();" from a JQuery POST call only returns the forum content. It doesn't actually redirect me to the forum page.

Please help.

Edit: I reinstalled Flarum just to make sure that I didn't miss anything.
I didn't really have anything on my forum yet, however now when I installed your extension a modal form popped up that says "Signup URL", "Login URL" and "Logout URL".

Where can I find those URL's?

I still havent found the URL's, but I did get the login process to work.

Now I just have to get the logout to work so that when I logout the user main account, the forum account also logs out. How can I do that?

I'm looking at $forum->logout(); but it has no effect.

Bugreport: I think that your extension also breaks the "login" and "register" buttons of Flarum forum. After installing your extension, those two buttons take me to "/forum/null" and the only way for me to login is by starting a discussion while logged out which opens a login modal form.

aidv This URLs should point to the login/signup/logout page of your main website. If you put in the correct URLs the buttons will work as expected.

The $forum->logout() function deletes the remember me cookie but not the session cookie (that's currently not possible). Therefore, you have to reopen your browser in order to completely logout.

aidv This URLs are just for the links in the header. So for example if you click on the login button no popup will open instead you get redirected to your main site login page.

I have been able to set this up (almost succesfully) on my site. Logging in to my WordPress site via the forum successfully created a new user in the forum database. However, logging in to WordPress does not log me in to my forum. Any idea as to what might be the cause of this? I am running both sites over SSL (different certs via LetsEncrypt). I am wondering if that could be the cause. Thoughts? Thanks!

UaMV Mmh hard to say what's going wrong there. The forum should be a subdomain of the WordPress site otherwise it won't work. Could that be the issue?

wuethrich I am running it on a subdomain. Maybe I'll have to try things over HTTP and see if that solves the issue.

UaMV Https shouldn't be a problem. Could you check if there is a flarum_remember cookie present under the subdomain?

wuethrich Hmm. Looks like clearing all my cookies for both the sub-domain and primary domain allowed me to get a successful login. I'll do some more testing, but I might have it working. Thanks for the tip!

wuethrich uner subdomain i.e on my flarum site flarum_remember cookie is not present but site where I create request for logged in it was creating the flarum_remember cookie. but after redirect to the falrum site it will only show flarum session cookie.
Now what to do.

querty I just released a new version of the extension. Now everytime a login model is opened you will get redirect to the login page.
