I have updated(started from scratch because it was old) this app thingy. I did it because I wanted to see what this webview is all about and I was bored.

Turns out, nothing special. BUT, if someone would like it, or add their own thing to it, I will upload it some where.

Easier for someone to get started on this mobile project that is created in 2021 rather than in 2017. You don't have to fight outdated errors. So, let me know, If I should bother sharing it.

I would suggest before opening it in Android studio, is to open up Notepad++ and do a find and replace from "com.app.madway" to "com.app.YOUR_NAME"

The rest is changing web Adress like stated above. All set.

Walys PWA is not a native application and has some limitations. There are no native apps available though - while using PWA is already very possible.

Flarum supports PWA so you can just use TWA instead

[deleted] Hi there! Unfortunately I ran into some problems. It gives me a basic "Ops, something went wrong, try reloading the page" while trying to activate the extension from admin panel. Is there some steps to do before extensione installing?? Thanks in advance

huuduy216 It depends on which store. The Microsoft and Android App stores are easy. The iOs store needs an App behaving like it's native. For both Android and Windows you can use the PWA-Builder project founded by Microsoft to convert your PWA into an app.

Visit PWABuilder and enter your PWA URL. Make sure your website is an PWA.
It will score your PWA. Make sure the scores are good to be approved in stores.
When you continue you'll get offered 3 options. Windows, Android and Samsung. Just click "Store package" or when needed "Test package".

That's it. Just follow those options, then register for the Play Developer Console or Microsoft Partner console to publish your app. 🥳

Note: There are multiple ways to actually do this. This little explanation just tells you an easy way. You could even just build a native app yourself and integrate a webview. However, you'll lose the need of an PWA.

wassup I suspect there are some dependencies missing that are required for this to run. Is there anything in /storage/logs in terms of the error ?

Can you see if minishlink/web-push is installed ?

It would seem that push_subscriptions already exists in the database so the activation of that fashioned meaning the extension fails. The fastest way around this would be to drop that table from your database and try the activation again
