Thanks for the compiling the app. Just downloaded and installed it.
The push notification for Android is not working, isn't it supposed to be sending notifications on the events of quotes, mentions and post likes?

I am not sure. Its possible that by removing the Titlebar it affected that?

I don't know anything really about Firebase, maybe someone else who has this working can confirm how the notifications are supposed to work.

I tested with the title-bar and still did not get a notification when I liked one of my own posts.
Also noticed that I am unable to login to my forum using Github auth.

0E800 you can't login with anything that uses a popup to login. Downside of webview. However, there are work arounds.

Also notifications NOT meant to be working with this one.

Work around? My choices are to remove the Github auth all together, but my intent is to use Github auth as sort of filter, I want users that know how to (at the least) use github. So any work around resource would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to send a push notification to my flarum app.

You need to do it from the Firebase console:

You can send push notifications to all users of the app that are able to login.

Think it defeats the use in a forum, will work well on games etc...

What does it say? What version of Android do you have // Phone model?

I tried 2 different emulators (Both Android 4.2.2)
I tried "Memu" the error I get from it is "APK failed to install"
Then i tried "AndyOS" and it says "There was a problem parsing the package"
Update: I tried installing it on Bluestacks (latest version) and it worked just fine

It's not useless. You can send general announcements and news to your community. You already get notification emails, what else do you need? The analytic alone is good enough for me.
