Also, I can now register on the site, so the change you made worked. Earlier, it crashed when I tried to make an account ( flarum.js tried to contact an non https source). Now it works:

OK. that might actually be that the ssl cert. is not completely set up.

Firefox 51.0.1 is giving me a secure green lock

cloudflare got a lot of data centers. So while some are showing green right now some will not. The certificate will spread steadily to all locations and most times it takes less then 24 hours. Alas it can take up to 24 hours at most. As long as it shows green tomorrow, and as it seems the website is not "live" I would not worry for now. And with the config change, the website works as well ?

If the problem still persist 20 hours from now tell me in this thread and i will attempt to help you further

Satyajit Can you verify that it works for you now? According to the problems timeline (Based on your first post) it should now have gone more then 24 hours since you initially switched on SSL trough Cloudflare.

andreherberth Yes, just visited https://wehindi.com/ and its loading fine. It also redirecting to HTTPS automatically. Should I leave the .htaccess file as it is? because all things are fine now.

querty It was a cloudflare SSL related issue. At the time of the problem, the SSL certificate had not yet been updated on his closest CF datacenter.

Hence the 24 hours to effect warning on the free SSL plan. Maybe @luceos or another mod can make this thread solved again ?

The easiest way is to simply toggle the switch on Cloudflare saying "Always use HTTPS" under "Crypto" on your dashboard. Page Rules can setup redirects for www to non-www, or the inverse. ?
