User30 can you confirm which Flarum version is in use (did FreeFlarum catch up with beta 13 yet?) and which language pack(s) you have enabled?

I think the English pack must be enabled for the translation fallback to work in other languages.

Yes. It is a Free Flarum forum

Whatever text that comes preloaded with Flarum changes to what you see in the screenshot above. Myself, +Sanguine and +Kyrne tried to fix it. The first suggestion was to reset /toggle the English language pack extension. Then +Sanguine tried clearing cache from the server side. No luck so far.

When I disable the Filter extension and use CTRL + F5, it becomes normal on both ACP and front end.

This issue does not happen with any other extension.

I'm not seeing any issue when enabling on my forum. I also tried to load the Spanish translation and there doesn't appear to be any issue there either.

I don't know. I am afraid to try now. As you know, even " Tags " is an extension. I might break the forum altogther.

@Sanguine would it be possible to set up a test board without any other extensions enabled so that we can try this ? Thanks.

I made a new board to test on FreeFlarum. There we a few plugins activated by default. And I went ahead and activated FoF Filter. The same mechanised text problem happened again. Once I deactivated the plugin, the text went back to normal without any extra steps.

I disabled Canonical URL extension as there was some reference to it. The same mechanised text issue happened. Toggled the English pack without success.

Cleared " Cache " from Dashboard. No luck. Thanks.

Update :

Disabled all extensions, but the issue comes back

Cleared cache from dashboard - no luck
Toggled the English language pack - no luck.
Disabled FoF Filter - all text back to normal

I am out of ideas now. 🙁

I have a suggestion...

Enable only English Language Pack and FoF Filter.
Open FoF Filter in Admin Panel and enter at least one word (e.g "word") in the Strings to filter.
Then, under Email Settings sill in the FoF Filter disable (i.e toggle off) the Auto merge double posts and Email user when post is filtered.
Clear Cache.

meetdilip Oh, So Sorry, I forgot the translation problem of the Language pack.
Toggle off the 2 green input switches. The ones next to the words ending with .merge and .email then press the button, core.admin.email.submit_button to save the Settings.

Clear Cache!
