Alpha version of realtime chat is available:

Features

Significant increase in performance
Updated design
Fixing of the functionality that was already implemented but broken in old versions: mentions, timestamps, character limiter, notifications
Transform the chat by moving vertically and change the height of the container by simply moving the chat header
Chat settings in the admin panel: for now, only characters limit setting
Convenient text area that increases its height as characters are entered, support for line breaks
Fixes for correct display of media embed content

Installation

Install extension via composer:

composer require xelson/flarum-ext-chat

For development builds:

composer require xelson/flarum-ext-chat:dev-master

Make sure that Pusher extension is enabled

Xelson I tried to enable the chat from the admin panel but got a "Oops! Something went wrong. Please reload the page and try again."
I didn't use the dev-master build.

Xelson Could you please delete tr.yaml on next update? Because some translations are wrong and translated by me on Turkish Extended Pack.

[deleted] That should be optional, but i think you should be able to open and close it by clicking on the frame. Its always confusing me 😃

I've seen message censoring in one of chat extension for xenforo, and it looks like **** *** **. I think it will be more interesting if you see what other people write and it will interest you in registering on the forum. But the forum specifics may require this and there is no problem to implement it. Only if it's feature will be in demand.

Applepiee I don't see the details of the chat errors here. There's only front-end errors with charts in console tab in admin panel (i don't think this is an extension issue) and warning about already existing database table. Try to run debug mode and reload extension then send logs here

Applepiee no, it's wrong behavior that has been noticed since original version. The console is silent, right?

I installed it, but there are some missing errors and it doesn't work on mobile, I couldn't see a button like editing or deleting messages.

RecepBilgin deleting and editing messages are planned features that will be implemented in the near future.
