I've installed this on my forum and I'm testing it with my mods. It works great. I'm hoping to use it to replace our WhatsApp chat and, in future, as a replacement for PMs. (My forum stopped having PMs when I switched to Flarum. I started dev on one but never had the time to see it thru. And it's a guitar forum — people need somewhere to share their email or phone number for classifieds deals.)

I'd be happy to support you on a monthly basis with this? Currently I send $10 a month to the Flarum team. I'm happy to do the same to you? It's not much but maybe it could encourage some companies with deeper pockets to help you fund further dev on this? That's my hope anyway 😃

NorioDS Yeah, supporting of fof/upload is more than possible and it's will be done in near future, i'll add this in current roadmap. But private chats is more complex feature the implementation of which I need to think about. Fortunately, I have an idea how to do this and how it will look. But first, I need to finish the main tasks for the basic features in order to start additional ones. Well, it is likely that I will add this task in roadmap.

If you're concerned about spam, then maybe consider only letting users with certain roles use the chat.

For example, I have a role on my forum called "Participator". When you sign up, all posts have to be approved. After a few posts, you (manually) get given this role. Once you have the "Participator" role, you can post without moderation and you can use the chat. Works well for me.
