What's the best way to implement flarum in an AMA website?

I'd like to build an ama website where every week we host a public figure for question and answer sessions.

I was thinking maybe create a category for every speaker. What do you guys think? Anybody done this with flarum?

If that's the primary purpose of the forum, have a group of "AMA" and allow them to create threads and allow generic users to post in already created threads?
Don't see any reason for a separate category for every new person or "speaker".

If the forum is meant for more, have a category of AMA and put them all in that?

lorde In permissions, you may create groups. Groups are.. well groups of users with specified permissions.. for example Start discussions can be limited to only group AMA_Speakers in tag AMA

Then default users can have permissions to Reply to discussions.

Perhaps a image will help.
The below shows that only users in group AMA Speakers may create discussions in tag AMA. However, users may create discussions with other tags like normal and reply to discussions created by AMA Speakers

Yes, you may (if categories == tags). Play around with it. See what happens ?
