luceos Still haven't managed to make it work, though 🙁 It still gives an Error 500 'An error occurred while trying to load this page.'

diegoc if there's a 500 you need to check the error logs under storage/logs. Without that error there's nothing we can do to help.

diegoc looks like the user has no Id. You can listen to the ParsingResourceOwner to modify the payload so that id is an attribute of the payload. It needs some kind of unique id.

luceos The problem is that this oauth2 application works with all of the other services used by UCL. It's just FoF passport that is not accepting the id. Is there any way I can set one of the data fields sent by UCL API as the id? For example, student number or UCL email address. It being a university thing, I don't think I'll be able to change things on their oauth2 server.

Yes, create some code in your extend.php above return that sets the field:

    'id' => 'data.user.someRandomKeyId'
]);

This works with dot notated array retrieval. And pulls the someRandomKeyId from the json payload of the user object/array in the data.

From this: https://uclapi.com/docs/ and the /oauth/user/data section, would something like data.user.UPI work?
Or can it be something completely random?

Hi, I just reverted my OAuth2 authentication to basic authentication.
I found that my password is not same with the password stored on the OAuth2 provider.
Is this expected?

leotj the password in Flarum is a randomized string as the authentication system is the oauth2 server not Flarum. Flarum needs a password assigned though, in order to protect the account from unauthorised access, but also to allow eventual recovery of the account in case the oauth2 service dies. A password forgotten action can restore access.
