0E800

Its my first extension ? hence 'My Signature extension'. Add a signature flair to your post.
(Please be patient while I add more of a description and proper usage, plus instructions for extra customizations.)

Thanks to @clarkwinkelmann @luceos @Kyrne and @jordanjay29 for help and motivation.

An alternative signature for flarum.

I guess the next step would be adding js support for a greater amount of cooler styles. However, I would like to be able to figure out how to add permission rules and enable/disable button tickers for each style.

0E800 Rules based on Permission attributes? I remember looking through one of the Flagrow extensions where it restricted access based on user groups.

0E800 you could do permission w/o js. Just setup a PostWillbeSaved event listener, get the post, check for bbcode, then check for perms.

I'd definitely advise against using that kind of markup:

It's ambiguous and hardly extensible. Instead, use named attributes and at most one token between the BBCode tags:

[sig img={URL1} link={URL2} logotext={TEXT1}]{TEXT2}[/sig]

I'm not sure I'd make a BBCode for it, instead I'd look for a way to use the existing markup for images and links.

If absolutely had to make a BBCode for it, I'd use something like that:

[IMGTILE4 imageurl={URL} title={TEXT} url={URL2}]{TEXT2}[/IMGTILE4]

Anywhere in your post. It won't apply a signature to all your posts.

There is another signature extension for that.

Unfortunately I am not yet at the level of expertise to modify the other signature extension to include the custom BBCodes.

I think is is a good idea to have the signature apply to all posts, as that is what the signatures are. If this plugin does not, then it does not count as a signature.

Either add the support for that, or find a way to let us use our signatures in all of our posts.

It's a signature extension because the examples have quotes. It's a signature extension because it's my first extension as well.
You will notice that the other signature extension does not exist within the post and because of this the Https only extension will not work on it.
With my signature extension the user doesn't need to spam a thread with a huge signature, everytime they reply with a single line response. You can also use the HTTPS extension to prevent users using non Https images.
Also my signature extension allows for social links and animated hovers.
My signature extension is an alternative to the current option for these reasons.
Not every post needs a signature, yaddamean? ?
