  • Flarum Beta is here!

Oops .. silly me. Was looking for "Install Documentation" and missed it completely, assuming that was a developer guide for creating installs. And I missed the big fat "documentation" link on the main site (hardly go there, just use the discuss sub domain).

Awsome Toby! I just transitioned my forum from SMF to esoTalk, so it is funny that this happened on the same day the new Flarum beta has launched. I look forward to upgrading when it is ready and excited. Thanks for all your hard work, it is very much appreciated.

Rally cool features, everything I need. Congrats.

Congratulations on this milestone! :-)

I'm excited to see this taking shape and look forward to contribute to it. ;-)

i installed successfully on my xampp (windows 10 x64) but i can't log in.

anhmjn Please open a separate thread for troubleshooting and provide as many details as you can.

Whoooo! GREAT! Congratulations to Toby and all the developers!

d1a8lo24 Just install on a xampp version 3.2.1. and everything went well. No problems at all and the API calls are actually working correctly.

I couldn't install it on one of my share host but it was because they are still running on PHP 5.4 😡 not cool.

But my 2 initial installs on my Virtual server and now on XAMPP on a windows machine work perfectly.

I do have a question which I think has been brought up by others. Will this beta version be able to upgrade to a stable version once its release?

To me this version is stable enough if you have the right machine to run it on, I know many have had problems installing it or accessing certain parts of the application. Which I think most have to do with either share hosts not having the right modules or libraries and nginx.
I haven't run into any problems at all, I have thrown everything I know that could break it this means some of the most inexperienced people that I know and they were clicking on everything, creating posts, playing with the setting, uploading avatars etc... and I haven't had a problem or had anyone mention they had a problem, everyone that was using the application just loved it.

Anyway congrats again on such a great application

Super excited! Keep up the fantastic work guys!
