Awesome extension.

May you please add the button from your User List extension to email all users?
I would like to use this extension as a replacement for the User List extension as it just seems to have more administrative functionality for modifying users.
I just need that email function w/ ability to include custom [HTML] (as @Kyrne [Abandoned] User List extension does.)

Also one thing I am noticing with the User List extensions is that the Email All Users function is easily broken if a user registers using a bogus email that may include formatting issues.
Example:
optout@novaliddomain.fat

If I try to send in mass a custom email to all Flarum members, it ends up failing because of improper format or some other reason. It would be cool if there was a way to improve upon the rules that govern proper email format.

I have already asked a lot, but it would also be nice to have the option to include the Members or Users link on the left hand side by Following and Tags instead of using the Links extension which puts it at the top with the rest of the external-site links I have. Just seems like it would be better placed on the side like the Ranking extension does.

If at all possible, it would be super awesome if I could customize if I want huge user tiles that show all the info, or have it as just a list so I do not have to keep scrolling through pages.

If I use global search as guest or not logged-in user I see permission error notification even the search results are displayed. The user direcory list is restricted only to members.
Where shall I post this issue since I do not know how Flarum handles permission (is it this extension or core of Flarum)?

Yol, @luceos! Is it possible to display users in your extension after groups? Mainly I mean "stronger" group, the user is higher on the list.

This extension is marked with abandoned tags, so this is not compatible with beta 8.1 flarum, as you can see here. So before installing an extension, make sure it is not marked abandoned

petr_kazda They are going to update this extension. I see that there is a pull request for it. I am sure they are busy and will get to it when they get a chance. I am looking forward to this working as well.

The day has finally come, User Directory is now compatible with beta 8.

A merge of the extension with Users List is still planned, but in the meantime Glowing Blue sponsored the migration of the User Directory part to beta 8 👌

Run composer require flagrow/user-directory on your beta 8 forum to get the version 0.2.0 of the extension.

I translate this plugin into my language, but it doesn't work. I'm uploading the file tr.yml to vendor / flagrow / user-directory / resources / locale. Or should I upload my own language to my directory? I am having such a problem with other flagroW extensions. What should I do?

wwwn while not a safe method (all files in vendor might be removed/overriden on composer actions) it should work. Make sure your file name matches the extension language ID (it might be tr-COUNTRYCODE). Also make sure you're running in debug mode on your local setup or clear the cache if you're doing that on a production forum.

Ralkage as a matter of fact, we already have a Turkish PR waiting, but we'd need some peer review before merging it https://github.com/flagrow/user-directory/pull/19

Approving PRs for languages we don't understand is still a problematic question I don't know how we should solve. Probably a topic for another discussion...
