atreides luceos I've waited the whole night 😀 . I'm trying to spawn flarum on a godaddy deluxe hosting tyer but with no luck till now. Both ways: following the installation documentation and also tried with Pockethold.
andreherberth atreides Hi, would you be so kind as to contact me on discord? Link is in first post. If you do not have discord, you can email me at pockethold (at) herberth.no. Please note that I only read this email once in awhile.
atreides andreherberth It seems there was a resources issue. I discarded the godaddy hosting and now I have my flarum installation up and running. Thank you!
andreherberth atreides Great you got it working. Alas, I have managed to get it working on Godaddy previously during testing. However then the issue was having to enable a php extension. May I ask what provider you ended up with, and if you used pockethold nor not when installing?
atreides andreherberth I ended up with a docker instance on Digital Ocean. About the installation, I went "the hard way". Haven't used pockethold.
andreherberth atreides That's great! I am fairly sure you will find Flarum easier to work with when on a VPS. And Docker is awesome 🙂 May I ask what docker image you are using?
Starz Hello! I got everything uploaded, but it would be stuck on "Getting Status". Any reason and fix or troubleshoot available @andreherberth?
andreherberth Starz Hi, would you be so kind and reach out to me via Discord? Easier for me to provide support there in those cases.
zomzad Hello , i download this version => [https://github.com/Pockethold/pockethold/releases/download/v0.1.0-beta.6/v0.1.0-beta.6-pockethold.zip] and upload my cpanel hosting(not vps) Installation steps run to step three or later i get message http 500
andreherberth zomzad Would you be so kind as to check the error logs in Cpanel? Should be under "Metrics".
andreherberth xb6262 No need for the bumps 😉 In any case, it does seem like a timeout issue. Do you by any chance have access to any logs? (Both Cpanel and Plesk have these for clients, as long as your host have not manually disable them from view).
xb6262 I TRY IT AGAIN AND IT'S OK NOW.When I first configured flarum, I didn't fill in the correct sql, but when I refreshed, it displayed "Update Flarum", I want to ask how to delete the configuration.
Buffer xb6262 i think you should remove the config.php file from your root directory. then install it again edited: dont forget to drop all the database tables.
